CHANGES\NEW v2.0
FIRST : why is this version marked *final*? of course, further versions can't be ruled out, but i won't need to upload or release them on audioz anymore since the tool can now check for and download updates internally. therefore, this version only needs to be on audioz once.
SECOND: how does a version jump from 1.1 to 2.0 come about? because it's a complete restart, affecting pretty much everything, with a main focus on:
when i started programming a search and text zoom feature into the respective lists, i stopped and thought about what had been objectively criticized. a minute later, i realized that an old-school disk explorer clone, which runs on every system, could handle everything at once. i'm referring to a cataloging tool like the one most people know as "whereisit." you scan a medium or folder on your local hard drive and then have all the files available in a small database, just like you're used to with windows explorer, including excellent organization and search functions, and tags like "release complete levels," which you can use after uploading to the folder. another feature is categories that you can apply to all previously available releases, such as listing only vst instruments or only keygens (since some still work today). that's it, anyway: the group tabs are now only for downloading, and the main tab contains the agra tool "agraxplorer," including a complete database. after running it, the data is copied to a folder of your choice on your pc (so this only needs to be done once). to better understand this, i recommend checking the help manuals (pdf/mp4).
what else is new?
minor details in various corners or download mirrors on the box (including one for uploaders) and among other things (rather unimportant) an "about" window with the 2 cheapest programmed software instruments for poor people since the beginning of mankind ;p
